he painted a naked picture of a woman (not me) and my mate came round the other day and ask him if the picture was me which really annoyed me
why would any one automatically think its me?

l would have taken that as a complement hey dont be so shy get him to paint one of you we are all beautiful despite our different dints lumps bumps that is why artists like doing nude sketches and paintings of the human body

Because you are married to him and it would be assumed that you model for him. Maybe he should start painting landscapes or still life? That way no one would think it is you.

First, he did not paint a naked picture of a woman, he painted a picture of a naked woman. Note the difference.
Secondly, unless it is TERRIBLY obvious that the model is someone else, why would not it be reasonable to wonder if it is you? And why would it annoy you so much?
